Improvised, live-mixed instrumental pieces, with occasional overdubs, primarily recorded during the late-winter and fall of 2017.

Traveling a variety of sonic territory, what unifies these pieces is the exploration of an AKAI MPC 1000.

The MPC provided drum samples and MIDI sequencing for a small cast of keyboards/synthesizers, which were mixed down to a stereo track in real time.

As needed, these initial improvisations were supplemented with layers of overdubbed guitar, keyboard, or percussion.

The brief sketches fluidly move between the worlds of ambient, drone, industrial, and hip-hop, with an equal commitment to noise and strangeness as to beauty and harmony.
